Qalan is a math training platform for school students, designed to make regular practice simple, focused, and motivating. I designed the full interface with an emphasis on clarity, accessibility, and engagement for both children and parents.
The UX was adapted for young users — large touch areas, minimal screens, visual feedback, and subtle gamification. The user flow allowed quick access without registration, topic selection, task solving, and progress tracking.
A dedicated parent mode was introduced to show statistics and provide content recommendations. The UI was optimized for low-end devices and slow networks to ensure broad accessibility.
The redesigned experience led to a 3× increase in session depth and task completion rate.
